I'm raising much needed funds for the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC) by walking a leg of The Melbourne Marathon - please sponsor me!
Across the 15 years that the ASRC has been fighting for the human rights of asylum seekers, it has helped thousands of people win their freedom through their work, and provided sanctuary, support and hope to over 10,000 people!
Your donation will help provide asylum seekers with support services including legal appointments,housing, health care, employment services, English language classes, food and advocacy.
ANY donation will be gratefully received, and will go towards making a difference in the lives of some of Australia's most vulnerable people.

ASRC Footscray (Asylum Seeker Resource Centre)
The Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC) is both a place and a movement.
As an independent not for profit organisation, we are owned and run by our community. Our programs empower people seeking asylum to maximise their own physical, mental and social well-being. As a movement, we mobilise and unite communities to create lasting social and policy change for people seeking asylum in Australia.
We assist over 7,000 people seeking asylum each year from our centres in Footscray and Dandenong, Victoria.
